Distance MBA Program

Application Process

Application Deadline: The application review will begin upon receipt of all required application materials and may take as long as one month to finalize. Students may register for classes in the next available module after admission.

Application

  • Fill out the online application form.
    NOTE: Complete Part II of the online application as follows:
  • "When do you want to begin your studies?"
    NOTE - Distance MBA terms starting in January and March fall under Spring Semesters and Distance MBA terms starting in July and September fall under Fall Semesters.
  • "Distance Education" Please mark "Yes, I plan to take some or all classes online."
  • "Admission Classification" is Degree Objective Major/Degree is Business(MBA)
  • Print a copy for your records if you desire
  • Submit the online application for processing

Transcripts

Ask each college or university that you have attended to send two official transcripts to:

Recommendation for Graduate Admission

Three letters of reference are required and should be submitted through GAMES.

Professional Resume

Professional Resume should be submitted through GAMES.

Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT)

You should register to take the GMAT and have the results forwarded to UNL (school code S40-HW-48). You should also submit your scores through GAMES.

Programs

On-Campus MBA Program

The On-Campus MBA Program provides a classroom experience with opportunities for face-to-face interaction with faculty and students, as well as participation in campus activities. Contact: Judy Shutts at cgraduate@unlnotes.unl.edu.

Corporate Program Information On-Campus MBA Program Information

Distance MBA Program

The Distance MBA Program offers the same MBA curriculum online for students who are time or place bound making traditional classroom study infeasible. Contact: C.J. Bachman at cbachman1@unl.edu.

Corporate MBA Program

The corporate MBA program specializes in executive leadership skills and is only available to individuals with three years of management or leadership experience.
